Refractory ball is a refractory material with a very wide range of applications. Refractory porcelain balls are made of industrial alumina and refractory kaolin as the main raw materials, through scientific formula, shaping and high-temperature calcination. Refractory ceramic balls are fillers used in ammonia synthesis, methanol shift furnaces, sulfuric acid converters and smelting high-temperature converters. They have the characteristics of high aluminum content, temperature resistance, and pressure resistance. Their diameters range from 15φmm to 70φmm. Fire-resistant ball classification:
1. Classified by aluminum content Ordinary refractory balls: suitable for converters and conversion furnaces in the sulfuric acid and fertilizer industries. High-aluminum refractory balls: High-aluminum refractory balls are suitable for hot blast furnaces, heating conversion furnaces and other equipment in urea, steel and other industries.
2. Classification by type Refractory ball: aluminum content 45-90, silicon content 10-70, iron content ≤1. Corundum refractory ball: aluminum content 90-98, silicon content 0.5-5.0, iron content ≤ 0.5. Low silicon refractory ball: aluminum content 90-98, silicon content ≤ 0.3, iron content ≤ 1.
